MEET OUR YOUTH STAFF

Michael Diaz-Upton Sr.
Youth Ministry Director & Elder | michael@crossroadsfamily.org
Michael serves as the Youth Director at Crossroads Church, where his passion is to help students discover who they are in Christ and live boldly in that identity. Having attended Crossroads for 27 years, beginning as a youth himself, Michael’s heart is deeply rooted in seeing the next generation grow in faith, character, and confidence in God’s purpose for their lives. He and his wife, Crystal, have been married for 23 years and are the proud parents of four amazing young men and one incredible daughter-in-love. Their journey together has been marked by both great joy and profound challenges, all of which have strengthened their trust in God’s faithfulness. Michael’s desire is to create spaces where young people can encounter Jesus authentically, ask honest questions, and experience the transforming power of His grace.
“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
— 1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)
